Paradise One Young Adult Ministries

Paradise One is the  young adult ministry of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. This ministry is intentionally crafted for individuals ages 18 to 45 who seek spiritual depth, authentic community, and purposeful living. Paradise One provides a space where faith is both nurtured and activated, recognizing the unique season of life that young adulthood represents. Often, young adults experience a blend of ambition, questions, and transitions, and we know that a Christ-focused and Christ-centered lifestyle are keys to success.  Through engaging Bible studies like How Can I Be a Church Member, by Thom Rainer, members have explored the meaning of belonging, responsibility, and spiritual maturity within the local church.

Paradise One creates space for inspiration and bold conversation. Following a series of town halls and in-depth conversations in which the Paradise Baptist Church listened to its young adults, Paradise One launched its successful 4th Sunday in-person worship, and addressed real-life needs through financial literacy workshops in partnership with the Grove Park Foundation. Our focused was to empower young adults to steward their resources wisely and build secure, Christ-centered futures. In past years we have welcomed guest speaker Rev. Eric Vance, pastor of Southside Community Church in Fort Worth, Texas, and the visionary founder of the globally renowned “Pray or Die” Movement. Rev. Vance led the discussion of challenges for this generation to reimagine what it means to serve, lead, and worship in today’s world. True to the spirit of Paradise, the ministry also emphasizes the importance of joyful fellowship—cultivating meaningful friendships, shared experiences, and a sense of belonging that extends beyond Sunday. Paradise One is not just a ministry—it’s a movement of young adults rising together in faith, purpose, and impact.
