Rev. S. Tarnace Watkins, Sr., born to the parents of the late Tony and Carrie Mae Perkins- Watkins was raised in Rome, Georgia along with his 4 older siblings, Deborah, Paula, Lori and Marti. He is a notable leader in the City of Atlanta and the faith community. His accomplishment comes from his tenure in ministry, banking, finance, community and economic development. Rev. Watkins was educated through the Rome Public Schools where he graduated from West Rome High School. He furthered his education and graduated from the United States Naval Technical Academy, Villanova University, American Institute of Banking.

He received biblical training from Carve Bible College. He is the President and CEO of Apex Community Development Partners; he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Cornerstone Resource and Community Center, a non- profit designed to reconnect all people to opportunities and resources for human development, the Director of Economic Development for the Grove Park Foundation. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy where he served his Country for eight (8) years.

He has served as pastor since 2005. In his inaugural assignment, he served as the Lead Pastor at Bryant Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for eight (8) years and 5 years at  Cornerstone Community Church-Atlanta. Pastor Watkins led Cornerstone into a unique cutting-edge church graft with Paradise Missionary Baptist Church where he currently serves as the Executive Pastor and Chief Business Officer with Lead Pastor, Rev. Dr. Charles A. Harper, III.

Under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Watkins has led thousands of lost souls to Christ and he continues to use his God given gifts to edify the body of Christ to the glory of God in the city of Atlanta and the world.

Pastor Watkins is married to Lady Jacquetta Watkins. They have three beautiful children, Sennya (TJ) Watkins, Jr., Myles Anthony and Morgen Elise.
